Basketball: Royal girls ousted by Buffalo 51-34

The Rogers girls basketball season ended as top-seeded Buffalo beat the Royals 51-34 in the Section 8AAAA semifinals on Saturday at St. Cloud State.

Jamie High with 15 points and 11 rebounds led Buffalo (24-4) in its third win over the Royals this year. Alexa Thielman added 12 points.

Courtney McClay sank 10 points, Jordyn Motter 9 and Emily Reichert 7 for Rogers, which finished 12-16.
