District 728 student musicians will supply the music as Elk River High School hosts its annual Swing Dance Friday, March 9, open to all ages.
You can get dance training and dance to Big Band Era tunes played by jazz bands from Elk River (Black Elk and Red Elk), Zimmerman and Rogers high schools, and Salk and VandenBerge middle schools — and maybe a few surprise entries.
Doors will open at 6 p.m. Professional group dance instruction by Cindy and Terry Gardner will start at 6:30 p.m. Tickets will cost $6. A silent auction will be held and concessions will be sold.

This event has proven popular enough that host ERHS is hosting it twice this school year. The first was held Dec. 3.
