Basketball: Elk girls lose to Tech 53-38, season over
Elk RIver’s girls basketball season ended with a 53-38 loss to St. Cloud Tech on Thursday evening in St. Cloud.
Victoria Jenson, Elk senior center, closed her four-year career with a personal-best 24 points. But the Elks couldn’t muster much offense otherwise.
The Elks finished 7-20, while Tech (17-10) advanced to the Section 8AAAA semifinals against St. Michael-Albertville.
It was the final game for Jenson, Dani Edwards, Candice Nemes, Mikala Macomber, and Michelle Botts.
