Basketball: Rogers girls lose to first-place Bison 40-32

The Rogers Royals were missing their floor leader but still gave first-place Buffalo a tough game Thursday evening, losing to the Bison 40-32 at home.

With senior guard Emily Reichert not playing, the Royals (4-6 conference, 10-13 overall) were not able to get much going on offense as Courtney McClay was high with eight points.

JIll Wackler had 13 to lead the Bison (10-0 conference, 21-3 overall).

Rogers will host Sartell-St. Stephen on Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
