Police Report: Drug Task Force arrests three

The Sherburne County Drug Task Force arrested Lashun Witherspoon Jr., 19, of Elk River on Tuesday for first-degree possession of cocaine and third-degree possession of heroin after a Feb. 7 raid of an Elk River home.

During the search, investigators found approximately one ounce of cocaine, over four grams of heroin and over 100 grams of marijuana, all of which had a street value of several thousand dollars.

While conducting the search, investigators allegedly observed Witherspoon throw something onto the roof of the garage below, which was among the drugs found.
