Basketball: Thunder girls top Milaca 71-39

Twelve players scored for Zimmerman as the Thunder defeated the Milaca Wolves 71-39 on Friday evening in Milaca.

Kaitlyn Mason and Melissa Dorn led with 12 points each, followed by Lexi Weimeri with 8 and Brooke Borchardt with 7.

The Thunder (3-7 conference, 7-14 overall) have two wins over Monticello (0-9 conference, 3-17 overall).

Julia Putz sank 13 for Milaca.

The Thunder will play at Big Lake on Tuesday.
