Basketball: St. Croix Prep nips Spectrum boys 46-44

St. Croix Prep  hit a last-second shot and defeated the Spectrum Sting 46-44 on Thursday evening in Elk River.

Nick Richardson netted 15 points and Jakob Schollmeier 14 for the Lions (10-9).

Steven Delain tallied 19 points, Jaden Shockley 10 and Jacob Shockley 9 for the Sting (5-14). Johnny Erickson had 3 points and 14 rebounds.

Spectrum will play at North Metro on Monday.
