Hockey: Rogers girls top Princeton 4-0, playoffs next

The Rogers Royals closed the regular season with a 4-0 win over Princeton on Friday evening, scoring all four goals in the first period.

Emily Antony, Jenna Nelson, Madison Lehn and Mckenzie Perna scored for Rogers, the last one on a power play. Kaitlyn Braiedy made hree assists and Michelle Klimstra 29 saves.

The Royals finished Mississippi 8 play 2-6, and the regular season 14-9-2.

Ranked No. 9 in Class A, the Royals will start Section 5A on Thursday. Seedings and pairings will be determined Sunday.
