Two AARP driver safety classes will be offered in Elk River in February and March. They are:
•AARP Driver Safety Program, eight hour: Improve skills and learn about the effects of aging and medication on driving along with suggestions on overcoming limitations. Two sessions, Tuesday/Wednesday, beginning Feb. 28, 5–9 p.m. Handke Center, Elk River. Fee: $16 for AARP members, $18 for non-members.
•AARP Driver Safety Program, four-hour refresher: For those 50 and older who have completed an insurance-approved eight-hour certified driver course. One session, Monday, March 26, 5–9 p.m., Handke Center, Elk River. Fee: $16 for AARP members, $18 for non-members.
