Basketball: Z-men thump Foley 87-56

The Zimmerman Thunder crushed the Foley Falcons 87-56 at home Thursday evening.

Jake Wilson led the Thunder (12-4) with 21 points. Caleb Lunning  hit 14, Gavin Doppler 13, Nate Christensen 11, and Corey Foyt 9.

Foley (2-14) had Cole Nelson with 14, and Tyler Templin and Trevor Knapek with 12 each.

In the Granite Ridge Conference, St. Cloud Cathedralis 7-1, and Zimmerman and Little Falls are next a 5-1.

Zimmerman will host Coon Rapids on Saturday at 1 p.m.
