Ronald “Ron” Pouliot, 79, of Deerwood (formerly of Elk River), died peacefully Thursday, Jan. 19, 2012.
Mass of Christian Burial was Thursday, Jan. 26 at the Church of St. Andrew, Elk River. Interment was at St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Quiet Oaks Hospice House, Gorecki Guest House or the St. Cloud Hospital Hospice. Dare’s Funeral Home in Elk River made the arrangements.
Mr. Pouliot is survived by his wife of 60 years, Dee; children, Vivian (Dale) Probasco, Cheryl (Rod) Gerlach, Ronald S. “Butch,” Brian, Michael, and Joseph (Carmen); 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; siblings, Betty (Bill) Daleiden, Pat (Dave) Theilman, Sharon (Jim) Hackenmueller, and Lynda (Steve) Weeks; sister-in-law, Clo Pouliot; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by brother, Doug; grandson, Chad Gerlach; and special family friend, Tammy.
