Basketball: Big Lake stymies Thunder boys 60-45

The Big Lake Hornets held Zimmerman to a season-low in points as they defeated the Thunder 60-45 on Tuesday evening in Big Lake.

Adam Braegelman hit 14 points, Austin 13, Sam Dokkenbakken 11 and Justin Benker 10 for the Hornets (7-9).

Zimmerman (11-4) was averaging 72.4 with a previous low of 52, but trailed 33-18 at halftime. Kyle Connelly sank 10 points, and Caleb Lunning and Jake Wilson 8 each.

Zummerman will host Foley on Thursday.
