The Elk River girls almost snapped their losing streak Friday night but came up short against Maple Grove 68-65 in overtime.
Senior center Victoria Jenson laid in 20 points and junior guard Jordyn Sohns added 15 for the Elks, now 1-10 in the conference and 5-11 overall.
Regulation ended 62-62. Maple Grove had a 6-3 edge in the extra session and handed the Elks their sixth loss in a row.
Angie Davis and Emily Eckberg scored 13 each for the Crimson (6-5 conference, 6-9 overall).
The Elks will host Armstrong on Tuesday.
