Basketball: Rogers boys drub Andover 69-38

Josh Turnquist led with 26 points as the Rogers Royals cruised 69-38 over the Andover Huskies on Thursday evening.

The 6-7 senior notched four 3-point shots, seven rebounds and three blocked shorts.

Michael Schreiber, 6-8 senior, added 20 points as the Royals (9-5) dominated the lanes. Guards Nick Runge and Sam Spilles sank six points each.

Andover (1-12) was held to 27 percent shooting at 14-for-51,  including 2-for-20 on three’s. Rogers hit 57 percent at 26-for-45 including 7-for-15 on three’s.

Rogers will host Big Lake on Friday evening.
