Gymnastics: Elks get best score, place 4th in Princeton invitational

The Elk gymnasts scored a season-best 137.35 points in placing fourth among nine teams last Saturday at Princeton’s Clemensen Invitational.

Perham was champion with 141.8 and had the all-around winner in Satera Montella with 36.15.

Elk freshman Alyssa Walton placed second in both bars and floor, and eighth all-around with 34.7. Elk senior Leah Perrault also scored 34.7 and placed seventh, along with third on floor.

Next for the Elks is a conference meet at Park Center on Thursday evening.
