Basketball: Buffalo thumps Rogers girls 61-34
The Buffalo Bison, ranked No. 7 in Class 4A, pummeled the Rogers Royas 61-34 on Friday evening in Buffalo.
Senior guard Alex Thielman netted 24 points for the Bison, who are 4-0 in the Mississippi 8 and 12-3 overeall Jill Wackler added 13 points and Whitney Anderson 11.
Jordyn Motter sank 16 for Rogers (2-2, 6-7). Next was Courtney McClay and Lindsey Dorr with 6 each.
Rogers will play at Big Lake on Thursday.
