Basketball: Hope Academy nips Spectrum girls 47-44

The Spectrum girls basketball team traveled to south Minneapolis to take on undefeated Hope Academy and came up short, 47-44 on Tuesday evening.

Spectrum led 41-40 before Hope won the game at the free throw line.

Sting senior Rebekah Maki had her best gameĀ  with 16 points. Shelby Eden had 10, and Rebecca Schultz added 8.

The Sting (0-12) will host FAIR School on Thursday.
