Hockey: Eden Prairie tops Elk boys again 6-3

Elk River-Zimmerman has dueled Eden Prairie three times already this season, including their last two outings, both decisive losses.

The Elks (7-5-1) lost to the Eagles 6-3 on Thursday evening in a regularly-scheduled non-conference game at Eden Prairie.

Their previous game was a 4-0 loss to the No. 6 ranked team on Dec. 30 at the St. Louis Park tournament.

The Elks and Eagles also tied 3-3 on Dec. 15 at Edina’s round-robin tournament.

Next for the Elks is a non-conference game against St. Francis at home next Thursday.
