More than 700 children received gifts through the Gifts Anonymous program in Elk River this holiday season.
Michelle Eder, one of the program’s coordinators, said 723 children from 274 families received gifts.
There were enough presents for everyone, she said.
“So many families were blessed for Christmas this year because of the generosity of people who donated gifts,” Eder said.

At the Gifts Anonymous site in Elk River, tables were filled with donated toys ready to be distributed.

She also thanked all the volunteers who helped and the local businesses who had barrels out to collect gift donations.
“We thought it went remarkably well,” Eder said.
