Gymnastics: Elks top Blaine/Andover and Anoka at home

Elk River-Rogers-Zimmerman picked up two more dual meet victories Tuesday night at home, scoring 136.95 to  beat Blaine/Andover (132.50) and a small Anoka squad (83.90) in a double dual.

Leah Perrault with 35.475 and Alana Embury with 34.025 led the Elks, who have won 26 straight duals since a loss to Centennial in December of 2009.

Anoka is coached by ERHS alums Jackie Deiley and Cortney (Lesnar) Anderson, co-captains of the 2004-05 season. They are rebuilding a program that has just five girls, with one missing this meet.

Next for the Elks (3-0) is a home meet against Champlin Park on Jan. 5.
