Hockey: Elk boys (3-0) trip Anoka 3-2

The Elk River-Zimmerman boys stayed unbeaten wit a 3-2 win over the Anoka Tornadoes at home Saturday evening. Senior forward Mitch Kierstad knocked in two goals, Nick McCormack made two assists, and goalie Anders Franke stopped 31 shots. Andrew Zerban scored the other goal. The Elks (3-0) will play at Centennial on Tuesday  evening.
