Hockey: Antony hot as Royals beat Totino-Grace 4-2

Emily Antony scored twice in the third period as the Rogers Royals tripped Totino-Grace 3-1 on Tuesday evening.

T-G’s Marie Sedesky scored in the first period, but Rogers goalie Becca Leshovsky stopped 24 other shots in the game.

Alicia Nelson knotted the score with an unassisted goal in the second period.

Antony, a freshman, gave the Royals a 2-1 lead with a goal assisted by Kelsey Johnston, then added a power-play goal assisted by Kassie Schering and Nelson.

Antony has scored five goals in two games. She had the hat trick on Saturday in a 4-2 win over Simley.

The Royals (2-1) will play in the New Prague tournament Friday and Saturday.
