The home overlooks the Mississippi River in Brooklyn Center and has a number of green features such as solar panels, geothermal heating, super-insulated walls and rainwater collection systems. The homeowner calls it his “Eco Freak McMansion.”
The Chuba Co. specializes in energy-efficient construction. The company’s founder, Denny Chuba, also is a member of the Elk River Energy City Commission.
