Annual Elk Pride Craft Bazaar slated Nov. 5

The Elk Pride Craft Bazaar will be held from 9 a.m.–4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5 at Elk River High School, 900 School St., Elk River.
Proceeds from the space rentals, concessions and raffle go toward educational scholarships for Elk River High School seniors.
The craft show has been running at the high school for many years. Originally started by faculty wives more than 25 years ago, the show has become a school-wide event. Teachers, administrators, students and other staff are participating in a variety of roles from marking the booth spaces to preparing the concession food.
The event offers handmade items from more than 100 vendors including jewelry, clothing, accessories, food items, seasonal gifts and decorations and so forth.
Vendors have donated items to the raffle. Raffle tickets can be purchased for $1 the day of the show or purchased prior to the show at Elk River High School.
The concessions will be offering a variety of food such as wild rice soup in bread bowls and pulled pork sandwiches.
Admission to the show is free.
