North Suburban Concert Band, Elk River High School Band to present Halloween Concert

The North Suburban Concert Band will join forces with the Elk River High School Band to present a Halloween concert on Friday, Oct. 28, at 7:00 PM in the Elk River High auditorium. The annual free concert features Halloween-themed music presented by the bands dressed in costume.
This fun-for-all performance encourages the audience to don a costume, and features a costume contest with prizes.
Under the direction of John Rosner, director of bands for both Elk River High School and the North Suburban Concert Band, the performance will include such “spooky” pieces as “Ghost Train,“ “The Witch and the Saint,” and “Rats, Bats and Spiders.” The concert will also include more familiar pieces such as, “The Wizard of Oz,” “The Incredibles” and many more.
Best of all, admission is free! Costumes are encouraged, but not required.
This is a great way to kick off Halloween weekend with plenty of fun and entertainment for all ages. Elk River High School is located at 900 School Street, Elk River, Minn.
