“Tombstones and Gravemarkers as Symbolism for Family History Research” is the latest in a series of genealogy programs at the Sherburne History Center in Becker.
The program will be presented from 10:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 22. It will explore some of the symbols etched in gravestones to help people interpret the lives of their ancestors. Presented by Sherburne History Center Executive Director Mike Brubaker, the program also explores issues of technology and the evolution of symbolism in gravestones.
