Cross country: Spectrum hosts conference meet, girls 3rd, boys 6th

The Spectrum girls placed third and the boys sixth, in their first-ever conference cross country meet, on Tuesday.

Spectrum was host school for the combined Minnesota Charter School/Minnesota Christian Athletic Association meet, totaling nine schools, held at Basset Creek Park in Crystal.

Spectrum had two all-conference runners as Chad Schwinghammer placed sixth in the 5K boys race and sophomore Kayla Zimmerman placed eighth in the 4K girls race.

Trinity was the team champion for both girls and boys. Individual winners were Trinity freshman Mary Ennis and MSA junior Jacob Siekmeier.
