Free seminar covers mortgage issues
The Volunteer Attorney Program of Central Minnesota Legal Services is offering a seminar, “Legal Advice for People with Mortgage Problems.”
It will run from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26, in the County Board Room at the Sherburne County Government Center, 13880 Business Center Dr., Elk River.
David J. Meyers, partner of Rinke Noonan Law Firm in St. Cloud, will be the presenter at this Community Education seminar.
Meyers will discuss topics such as how a homeowner ends up with a mortgage problem, what happens in a mortgage foreclosure proceeding and what help is available from Legal Services. He will also take questions from the audience.
This seminar is free and is being held in conjunction with Celebrate National Pro Bono Week. Because space is limited, reservations will be taken on a first-come, first-serve basis. For more information and/or to make reservations, call 320-257-4873, or by e-mail at email@example.com.
