The senior midfielder broke the record of 54 points when he scored a goal in the first half. He also assisted on Grant Tesdahl’s game in the second half, putting his career total at 56.

His assist in the 5-1 loss to Centennial on Tuesday gave him 54 points, tying the record held by Matt Foss.

Ness, a coaches association all-state pick last year, has six goals and four assists for 10 points this year, and 29 goals and 27 assists in his four year career.

Foss had 39 goals and 15 assists. Foss remains the Elk leader in goals, followed by Sam Milles with 34, and then Ness.
