A 49-year-old Nowthen woman has been arrested for DWI after her involvement Sept. 26 in a three-car crash along Freeport Avenue just north of School Street.
She had been travelling southbound late Monday afternoon when she swerved into oncoming traffic, according to Elk River Police Capt. Bob Kluntz.
An airbag inside her Chevy Silverado deployed. She was later transported to an area hospital and cited for DWI.
She ran into a Buick and a Dodge minivan. The Star News will report back when it has more information on the crash.
