Volleyball: Andover thumps Elks in three
The Andover Huskies swept the Elk River Elks 26-24, 25-12, 25-12 on Tuesday evening in Elk River.
The Elks had 16 hitting errors against 27 kills, with Jayde Krauth making eight kills and Jordan Moening six. The Elks served well, 48-for-50 with seven aces. Janel Finkbeiner had three aces and Kara Ziemer two. Ziemer was also 35-for-38 receiving serves.
The Elks are 1-2 in conference and 8-3 overall. Andover is 4-0 and 10-3.
Elk River will play at Coon Rapids on Thursday.
