Tennis: Elks beat Hastings, Winona; lose to Eagan

The Elk River Elks beat Hastings 6-1 and Winona 6-1, while losing to Eagan 4-3, in an Eagan tournament on Saturday.

Winning against Eagan were Michaela Schulz at No 1 singles, Katie O’Connell and Camille Kraljic at No. 1 doubles, and Kathi Opsahl and Kelsey Rausch at No. 3 doubles. Losing were Ali May Kuebelbeck, Hadley Purdy and Jen Koehler at 2-3-4 singles and Taylor Lussier Flesher/Becca O’Connell at 2-doubles.

Winning against Hastings were Schulz, Kuebelbeck, Purdy and Koehler, along with O’Connell/Kraljic at 1-dubs and Opsdahl/Rausch at 3-dubs. Losing were Lussier Flesher/O’Connell at 2-dubs.

Winning against Winona were Schulz, Kuebelbeck, Becca O’Connell and Koehler at 1-2-3-4 singles, and Lussier Flesher/Kraljic at 1-dubs and Katie O’Connell/Purdy at 2-dubs. Raush and Kelly Edwards lost at 3-dubs.

The Elks (11-2) will host Osseo on Tuesday.
