Benefit fund set up for Pohl family

A benefit fund has been established in response to the boating accident on the Chippewa River in Wisconsin, which took the life of Luke R. Pohl of Elk River and two others, Matthew “Fatty” Simonson and Matt Overhulser.

Pohl’s wife, Heather, lives in Elk River with their son, Austin. She is expecting the birth of their second child later this year.

The benefit fund has been set up at Associated Bank in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Illinois.

Contributions should be made out to “Pohl and Simonson Benefit Fund” and may be mailed to or dropped off at any Associated Bank. To locate the branch nearest you, visit www.associatedbank.com

For more information, contact any Associated Bank, or email pohl.simonson.benefit.fund@gmail.com or see the Facebook page “Pohl and Simonson Benefit Fund.”
