Golf: White gets ace at ERGC

Mike White of Maple Grove shot a hole-in-one Saturday at Elk River Golf Club.

It was the first ace for White, 53, who has been golfing for 46 years.

White used a 7-iron on the No. 2 hole, a 171-yard shot, on the way to a 77 score. He was playing with Morgan White, Matt Smerdon, and Chris Miller.
