Refuge hosts bird, butterfly events

Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge near Zimmerman is hosting bird and  butterfly events on Saturday, June 25.
•Birds: Join Bob Holtz for a bird tour from 8–11 a.m. The event may include walking and/or driving.
Meet at the Blue Hill Trail parking lot, which is on County Road 9, six miles west of Highway 169. For detailed driving directions from surrounding communities go to
Butterflies: Join refuge volunteer Doug Stucki from 1–3 p.m. at the Blue Hill Trail, as he conducts a butterfly census.
Both tours are free and open to the public.
