Pollinator program set for Saturday

Did you know that every third bite of food we eat comes to us thanks to a pollinating insect or animal?
Eighty-seven of the leading global foods are insect pollinated, and that’s one of the reasons behind National Pollinator Week, which will be celebrated on Saturday, June 25 at the Sherburne History Center in Becker with a program from 10 a.m. to noon.
Learn about the importance of pollinators and the importance of planting for them in home landscapes. There will also be an opportunity to gain a historical perspective and go on a prairie walk.
