This past Friday night my mailbox on County Road 1 was hit (I assume by a baseball bat).
This has been the third or fourth time in 13 years of living here that has happened. I have heard that this is a “passage” of high school seniors in Elk River.
I grew up on military bases all over the world. I was a varsity letterman and class officer. If I would have done something like this my butt would have been in a “sling.”
I would like for those who did it to come to my house and knock on the door and tell me why. And I would like them to replace the mail box — no questions asked. — Skip Abel, Elk River
