Counties get money to help homeless
Sherburne and Wright counties, along with 12 other counties that are a part of the Central Minnesota Continuum of Care (CoC), have been awarded $900,209.
The CoC is a network of people who create programs to alleviate homelessness and they were awarded the money by the HUD McKinney-Vento Funding.
The $900,209 will be distributed to 11 projects in the 14 counties.
