Carolyn J. Stewart, 73, of Lenexa, Kan., formerly of Elk River, died Friday, May 20, 2011, at home.
She was born Nov. 28, 1937, in Minneapolis and moved to the Kansas City area in 1976.
She had worked in the sales department for Wolfermann’s and had been the owner and designer at And The Bead Goes On Jewelry Company for 20 years.
Mrs. Stewart was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
The Funeral Liturgy was Tuesday, May 24, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Lenexa. Burial was in Resurrection Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, David B. Stewart; three children and their spouses, Jodi (Keith) Olson of Camdenton, Mo., Denise (Scott) Gartner of Overland Park, Kan., and Walter (Veronica) of Lenexa; grandchildren, K.J. Olson, Timothy Olson, Matthew Olson, Kelsie Gartner and Carly Gartner; a great-grandson, Jerome Andrew Olson; sisters, Jackie Kennen, Suzie Wirz and Judy Ross; and brothers, Robert, William, George, Thomas, Michael and Gerald Thomas.
She was preceded in death by a son, Keith Robert Dunn, and two stepchildren, Linda Jean and Craig Phillip Dunn.
