Baseball: Royals end skid with 6-3 win over Becker

Freshman Adam Nauth pitched a three-hitter as the Rogers Royals snapped a five-game losing streak with a 6-3 win over Becker on Tuesday at home.

“We are playing seven games in six days, so we are getting a look at some of our young guys,” said coach John Olson. “We got a real good game from Adam.”

Nauth walked two and struck out two in the complete game.

Bjorn Bloom delivered the team’s first homer of the season, a two-run shot, while Neal Smith was 2-for-3 with an RBI.

Rogers (4-9 conference, 4-10 overall) will play at Zimmerman on Wednesday.
