Lacrosse: ERZ girls fall to Armstrong-Cooper in double OT


Elk River-Rogers-Zimmerman suffered its third straight close loss, 11-10 against Armstrong-Cooper in double overtime, on Wednesday.


Mackenzie Perna made four goals for ERZ. Kayla Mills and Morgan Pierson had two each, and Emily Antony and Jordon McLaughlin one each. Pierson made five assists and Mills three. Top defenders were Danielle Morgan, Rose Fredell and Kim Scott. Sam Geissler stopped 27 of 387 shots.


ERZ (6-5) will host Becker on Friday.
