Golf: Elk girls beat 3 conference rivals at home

The Elk River girls golf team is progressing toward  its third straight conference title after defeating three NWSC rivals at Elk River Golf Club on Monday.

The Elks shot 174 to pick up wins over Armstrong (198), Park Center (216) and Anoka (218), boosting their conference record to 6-0.

The Elks were tightly-bunched as Andrea Dwyer led with 42, McKayla Granning shot 43, Sadie Martin 44, Ashlee Lindeen 45, and Nicole Thordal 46. Samantha Lindeen had 52.

The Elks will play in the Red Wing Invitational on Tuesday.
