The Zimmerman girls placed first and the boys placed second among 11 schools in the Princeton Invitational track meet on Thursday.
Cassii Ortberg won three events — the 100 hurdles (16.26), 300 hurdles (46.95), and long jump (15-3 1/2) and placed second in high jump (4-10).
The Thunder girls had 175 points, followed by Mora 127 and Princeton 104. Anna Huss won triple jump (31-11 1/2) and took second in long jump. Also second were Gabby Kieliszewski in the 800, Chelsea Schlagel in the 3200 and Alexis Ulrich in triple jump.
Mora edged Zimmer-man 141 to 139 in the boys meet with Brooklyn Center third with 95.
Brandon Giese won long jump (20-0 3/4) and took second in the triple. Alec Seymour won shot put (46-9 1/2). Ethan Lunning was second in sh ot and disc and Lynk Downing second in the triple jump.
