Lacrosse: ERZ girls win by one again, 12-11 over Anoka
Emily Antony tossed in six goals and Morgan Pierson added five as the Elk River-Rogers-Zimmerman lacrosse team nipped Anoka 12-11 at home on Wednesday evening.
It was the third straight one-goal win for ERZ, the last two by 11-10 scores, as they improved to 6-2.
Kayla Mills had two goals and three assists. Megan Orrock made three assists, Pierson two and Antony one.
Defenders Ashley Joel, Kim Scott, Marissa Soppeland, and Rose Fredell were able to limit the number of quality shots on goalie Sam Geissler who stopped 19 of 30.
ERZ will play at Buffalo on Friday.
