Rogers and undefeated Buffalo had a scoreless duel for 10 innings before the Bison and Bailey Bakken prevailed over the Royals and Christina Hajder in the 1-0 in the 11th inning.

A leadoff triple and an infield error gave Buffalo (8-0) the lead, and Bakken finished up her 11-inning, five-hit, eight-strikeout shutout in Rogers.

Rogers (3-6) had a great chance in the last of the 10th with runners at second and third with one out. A fly ball was hit, deep enough to score the runner from third. However, the runner left the base too early and was called out, said coach Dan Ohlgren.

Hajder gave up eight hits and one walk, and struck out six. Her catcher Christina Reinitz helped by throwing out base-stealers in the sixth and seventh innings. Ohlgren said Rienitz has given up just one steal this season.

Rogers will play at Big Lake on Thursday.
