Baseball: Centennial hurler no-hits Elks 10-0

The Elk River baseball team was a no-hit victim on Wednesday, losing 10-0 to Centennial.

Josh Matheson threw the five-inning no-hitter with eight strikeouts and three walks. Sam Alt hit a three-run homer for the Cougars (6-4).

Aaron Pipenhagen took the loss, allowing seven hits and three walks in four innings.

The Elks (4-4) will host Champlin Park on Thursday.
