The Elk River-Rogers-Zimmerman boys lacrosse team was drubbed by the Blaine Bengals 16-0 at home on Monday evening.

“We have to work on fundamentals (ground ball, passing and catching),” said coach Mike Williams.  “We will be doing that for the next practices and we will be working on those skills until we can do them consistently.  It seems our team is not quite ready to play varsity lacrosse yet.”

Cailin Bourdeaux had three goals to lead Blaine.

ERZ (1-4) will play at Coon Rapids on Wednesday.
