Rogers woman gets Guard promotion
Melissa Struck of Rogers was promoted to sergeant in the North Dakota National Guard April 9.
A member of the Guard’s 188th Army Band, Struck works in the unit’s supply section.
Her parents, Gerald and Kathryn Heinle of Bismarck, N.D., were on hand for the ceremony. Gerald, a retired National Guard colonel, pinned on Struck’s new rank.
The sergeant has been in the Guard since 1993. While not actively serving in the National Guard, Struck works at Target Corp. in Minneapolis and lives in Rogers with her husband and two children.
