Bank of Elk River offers free breakfast

Though the month is winding down, the public is encouraged to stop by The Bank of Elk River’s School Street location Friday morning from 7–9.
FREEbreakfast FRIDAYS is open to everyone whether on their way to work, to drop the kids off at school or just out running a few early-morning errands.
Breakfast is set up continental style featuring various fruit, granola bars, English muffins and bagels.
Those stopping by can also choose other options like doughnuts, hard boiled eggs, oatmeal or yogurt.
Beverages include juice, bottled water and Dunn Bros coffee.
Folks can choose to “grab-and-go” via the bank’s drive through or dine inside the bank.
To celebrate Arbor Day, April 29, The Bank of Elk River will hand out Colorado blue spruce seedlings during breakfast hours.
This is the third year of FREEbreakfastFRIDAYS and The Bank of Elk River Marketing Director Tammy Andrews says it was just another way for the bank to give something back to the community.
“It still seems like the right thing to do,” Andrews adds. “We just want to put a smile on faces … through food, coffee, or just a wave on the corner as people drive by and see our signs.”
