Softball: Baker sibs spark Royals’ 5-2 win over Tigers

The Baker sisters delivered the key hits as the Rogers Royals tipped the Princeton Tigers 5-2 in Princeton on Monday.

In the sixth, Kara Jean Baker, pinch-hitting, singled home a run that put Rogers ahead 2-1, and Jo Baker followed with a two-run double.

Christina Hajder pitched a three-hitter with nine strikeouts and one walk for the Royals (2-2).

The Royals are scheduled to host STMA on Tuesday.
